If the Cardinals couldn’t be bothered to even show up for this game, then I see no reason to waste my time recapping it. The Pirates whipped the Cardinals 5-0 and won a series that the Cardinals absolutely needed to win. In doing so, the Pirates shamed the Cardinals and completely deflated their will.

This is the answer for last night’s brutality? This is the team that claims to have the intestinal fortitude to win the World Series? I find that difficult to believe after this horrific and unacceptable series.

After what the Pirates did to the Cardinals’ leader last night, an answer needed to be given. And it was. The 2012 Cardinals do not deserve to play in the World Series. They should be ashamed of themselves.
